The space that I work in was never meant to be a sewing space. It was never meant to be a work space for anything. It has built in shelving around the top but I was able to insert metal shelving underneath it to maximize the storage capacity.
I'm also discovering that I have a problem finding space for all my "stuff" that I've been collecting over the last couple years... It's not necessarily tools or supplies as much as it's left over fabric or experiments with things that I don't want to get rid of. I need to find a better organizational method than I've got, but it's what it is. It is a bit of a wreck, but it's a constructive wreck and I'm happy enough with that.
The video itself went through some processing in iMovie, then got uploaded to Youtube so I could transfer it over here to Blogger.... I haven't figured out how to directly upload the video file from my own computer. Maybe some day. But this works!
Until next time, Live Life with Relish!
Wow, what a wonderful journey ...I love seeing others creative studios. Thanks for sharing it with us. Also, it was so nice to hear a voice with the video. Absolutely a great post.
ReplyDeleteHaha!!! Thanks, Nancy! I hadn't thought about what I was going to sound like... Oh, dear... *blush*
ReplyDeleteYes, it's a happy mess, but I count myself fortunate that I even have the space for it at all!! So many artists and crafters use even less space than I have, so I'm glad for the opportunity to be able to make a mess at all! It's a good little hovel, and it treats me well. : )
So cool! your space looks like it functions just fine ... and your voice sounds just like I thought it would!!
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job on the first video, Corey.
Thank-you so much, Susan!! I appreciate it! : )
ReplyDeleteHi Corey...love your blog, will take time out to read more.
ReplyDeleteThanks for following me even though I don't post as often as I should.
Love the video...Cory
