A New Feature

I decided to add a recommended book list for those interested in purchasing something to add to their library.  I went to Amazon and joined their Associates network, allowing me to create a storefront where I can list the books in my own library.

The books I've chosen thus far are all tried and true for me--I own them, I've used them, I've referred to them for guidance and research.  I wouldn't recommend anything that I don't believe in.

They categories right now are mostly about costume design--since that's the field that I have the most experience in.  But as time goes on, I'll be adding more and more books that deal with history, business, and inspirational works, as well as additional reference material that I've found useful or interesting.

I think books are an invaluable resource when one is working in any creative field.  I've found that my own collection has grown more and more useful for me as the years have gone on, and I constantly turn to them for all sorts of things.  I've found that I can turn to any of them and feel inspired and creatively refreshed.  Books = good, in my opinion!  : )

So go check it out--I'll be adding more and making some comments on them as I go along.  It's a big undertaking if one wants to do it right, and I do.  I think you'll find it interesting if nothing else!  If you have any specific questions about a book that you feel I might be able to answer, shoot me an email at relishedartistry@gmail.com, and I'll do my best to help you out.

If you decide you can't live without one of the books and decide that you must have it, simply click on the book and you'll be able to purchase it through my storefront.  I get a 4% cut of the purchase price, and that will go a long way to helping me expand the content I can provide for this blog.  In the future, I would like to get a tripod and camera that I can use for some video tutorials!  That'll take a while at only 4% of the purchase price, but it's better than nothin!  : )

Thanks for your help and dig in!  Let me know if there's anything confusing or that you'd like me to address!

Until next time, Live Life with Relish!
